This idea is from RMiners's (follow me) mind and was lovingly penned on 29 May 2009.
My idea is to introduce Freud's theory of the mind... I get students to write (secretly) on a piece of paper what they would do if they could do anything at all, with no social, moral, ethical, personal (etc.) repercussions. We have a chat about general themes mentioned e.g ."how many of you mentioned sex, money etc." and then get them to write what would actually happen to them, if they were to do that in real life. We use their notes to illustrate differences between id and ego. They all seem to enjoy it and it serves to remind them of the differences
