This idea is from Justin Greer-Spencer's (follow me) mind and was lovingly penned on 27 September 2009.
Milgram Play Your Cards Right!
Quite simple - once the students know the procedures well, as you know, it's time to move on to the variations, with their different percentages of Pp going to 450. instead of telling them the different percentages staright away, get them to guess, Brucie-style, whether they think it was higher or lower than 65% for each variation you describe. they must, of course, say why as well.
This can be done as a worksheet, or more elaborately as a whole-class activity/game show/team competition depending on how energetic you feel vs how much peace and quiet you want.
