Vicki Wilken said Hi Mandy, Thanks for your comments. I have really enjoyed teaching the IB with the new spec. I taught the old spec before that. I am not teaching IB year 1 next year, but I am teaching IB year 2.I went on training for the new spec with John Craven. He was very interesting and informative. He has some excellent resources on his website (via the IB website). How have you found the new spec? Vicki :)

Suzy Matuszak said Hi Mandy, I'm sorry I can't e-mail back - not on 'plus' shame on me. I haven't done Child this year the students opted for Health, so I haven't done a revision booklet for that. Maybe next year though!

Stuart Brown said Hi I just found the title of my PhD " A case Study of policy making, the implementation of an Education Support Grant on non attendance in a West London Borough, 1991 to 1992." University of Exeter. I spent a fair bit of time examining the psychology of both the children and the teachers/ administrators.

Hello everyone! I love psychexchange and want to thank Jamie and Mark every single day for setting it up. I am Head of Psychology at Portsmouth Grammar School and am now in my fourth year. Previously, I worked for 3 years at The Down Syndrome Educational Trust providing psychological services (advice, asessment, report writing, early intervention, etc), training, publishing/editing/writing. Before that I worked for 5 years at St Vincent College in Gosport, where I taught Psychology, Health and Care and a variety of courses for students with moderate and severe learning difficulties.

Depression and The black dog 30 March 2010 In preparing some materials for next term's A2 lessons on depression, I have come across an organisation called The Black Dog Institure in Australia, supporting eopel with depression.
